Since his ordination into the ministry on January 29, 2018, Pastor Kevin Burns (KB) has been very involved in sharing the hope of Christ and advocating for the disenfranchised through Franklin Community Church, Church of Life, and Christian Community Development Association (CCDA). Aside from regular speaking engagements, KB has used his influence to help develop curriculum for CCDA’s annual “Locked in Solidarity” week, focusing on ministering to those incarcerated.

Franklin Community Church and Church of Life Sermon Ministry

Since 2020, in partnership with Franklin Community Church (Franklin, TN), Pastor Kevin Burns has been recording sermons and broadcasting them to share with the world via YouTube.  To date, he has recorded over 40 sermons with thousands of viewers listening to his preaching straight from his cell at Riverbend Maximum Security Prison in Nashville, TN.

In partnership with Pastor Kevin Riggs of Franklin Community Church, Pastor Kevin Burns has contributed to developing curriculum for pastors for the annual “Locked In Solidarity: CCDA’s National Awareness & Action Week on Mass Incarceration” event.
